This group is for discussing Chihuahua Topics such as health, breeding, exhibiting and general well being issues. It will be carefully monitored and there will be no "Flaming", "Rudeness" or "Bad Language" of any kind tolerated. We respect the privacy of our members and we expect you to also.

Photo Albums- Please create a Photo Album for your Chihuahua and other Pets. You may place photos of YOUR puppies under 8 weeks of age in your albums or in posts as attachments. These puppies MUST belong to you and be puppies you are planning to keep.

***Final Note: We make it real clear that members should READ the rules prior to posting and the rules stand. We have explained these rules many many times and frankly get real tired of having to do it over and over. If you read the rules when you join and you feel the need to question us about any of them, then maybe this isn't the group you need to belong to. Each of you have the option to remove yourself if you find the rules not to your liking. The rules were NOT made up out of thin air, but rather from problems that have come up over the many years this Group has existed. When a major problem came up my moderators and I created a rule to avoid the SAME problem in the future.

 | Chihuahua's are the best! I have one chihuahua (chiquita -- spanish for small/tiny), and she is so affectionate! She follows me everywhere! She likes to cuddle with me all the time. I am only 14. I got her in February of 09' this year. Her birthday is June 16th. She is only a year, and 2/3 months old, but i love her! Even though she is my first chihuahua i've had some experience with them since my aunt has a chihuahua, and she's had it for almost 17 years now. Also, my cousin's had one too, and i was used to taking care of them. They are a good breed of dog for first time owners. They will require lots, and lots of attention though. If you want a dog you can cuddle, and give all your love to choose a chihuahua. (: |
 | I'm new to chihuahua's. My daughter fell in love with a picture of a dog on craigslist. The picture ended up being of a "similar" little one, but the minute my daughter saw this little neglected, dirty scared little boy, she knew he needed us to love him. He was my 40th birthday present and the best present I've ever received. He's a cream colored long haired (at least once his hair grows back in where they shaved him to the skin) chihuahua. When we got him, he only weighed 4.5 pounds and we could feel every rib and his spinal column. A month later and he's up to 5.3 pounds and we can't feel his spine or ribs like before. I love him :) |

I was referred by Liz Moore of Diadem Chihuahuas. About a year ago I joined 2 other groups, and I follow along with reading postings. Although I appreciate different opinions, I also want mine appreciated. So, my friend & breeder recommended joining this one. I hope to make new friends and learn new things about chihuahuas. I would eventually love to start showing, so any information that can be shared would be greatly appreciated.
